I started with HubPages in their beta phase and have been active off, and on, ever since. Since HubPages seem to web-chop pretty well, I'll show a few here. Check them out and let me know what you think.
HubPages is a single page authoring tool, sometmes called an expert page. Some authors use it for pop culture features, rants, and attempts at online marketing. I like the expert page concept and tend to use the page for creative writing exercises, typically about my interest areas, and to create reference pages.
